On tap at Dageraad. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Crisp dry grass and cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has crisp cracker malts, lots of dry grassy hops, a gentle dustiness. High carbonation. Nice, clean pilsner. --- Beer merged from original tick of Old World Pilsner on 11 Jul 2024 at 03:38 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Flight at brewery. Pours clear light yellow with white head. Aroma is herbal with some crisp light malts. Flavour has some grass, dominated by damp, light malt. Enjoyable, but nothing too special.

On tap at Dageraad. Pours a dull murky brown with an off-white head. Dried berries, raisins, and some balsamic notes on the nose. Flavour has a moderate level of acidity with lots of raisins and dried fruit giving it that nice sour red character. A healthy dose of balsamic throughout the flavour, though thankfully not coming off very acetic. Some bitterness coming through at the very end that complements it well. Nice, I really like this.

On tap at Dageraad. Pours murky yellow with a white head. Musty sauternes barrels, light estery yeast, and some gentle notes of cloves and other herbs on the nose. Flavour has plenty of that sweet, vinous sauternes character, a bit musty, a nice level of estery Belgian yeast, and some cloves and other herbs throughout. Nice, I like this, I think the second-use sauternes provided a nice accent to the base.

On tap at Dageraad. Pours murky dull orange with a white head. Rustic yeast and some cherry must on the nose. Flavour is very earthy, the cherries are present but a bit subdued, a bit of a light, sugary cinnamon character, especially on the finish, and a gentle tartness throughout. This is nice.

On tap at Dageraad. Pours hazy blonde with a white head. Lots of rustic yeast, some Brett, and gin botanicals on the nose. Flavour has loads of gin barrels, bright citrus peels, a rustic yeast profile. Definitely dominated by the gin, but it comes together nicely.

Medium brown, tan head. Nose of light roast/vague cherries. Light roast, earthy with light acidic cherry notes. Vague Belgian yeast spiciness

Pale amber, slight haze. Thin head. Moderate bitterness, a touch of biscuity malt, and it’s fairly estery.

On cask at The Magnet, pours a clear dull golden with a large white head. Aroma has soft bready malt, very soft English hops, not much else. Flavour is fairly neutral, with a fungal/mushroomy character that so many British cask ales have and subtle bready malt. Correct mouthfeel. Reasonably authentic / boring as hell.

Gold, stark white head. Light piney nose. Dank piney citrus profile, somewhat thin. Lacks residual sweetness, more like a brut. Poorly balanced

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 09/09/2025). Clear yellow gold with white head. Oily, mild grassy hops, feint cat pee, soft yeasty biscuit malt. Okay.
