10 ounce at the brewery - a super hoppy rendition of a German Pils - clear gold - highly floral and grassy, with a rather high bitterness, probably qualifying as an ipl - creamy texture and a clean malt base makes this a lager with a lot of enjoyment potential that gets slightly undercut by the somewhat extreme finish bitterness - still quite tasty, though.

Sample at Falling Rock. The beer is a dark golden color with a medium bone white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of floral hops, pine and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), Colorado Tap Takeover. Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino. Naso abbastanza ricco, sentori di cappuccino, cioccolato, melassa. In bocca è cremosa e rotonda, attacco dolce, cioccolatoso, finale amaro caffettoso. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Molto buona.

On tap at 4:20 in Rome-Italy at the Colorado Tap takeover event (perpetual thanks to Alex and Cris for making this possible). Dark caramel pour, regular and adhesive ivory foam with good retention. Nose: that English feel of dusty room, over ripped red fruit, hemp. Like it. Mouth: clean as much as USA brewer interpreter our EU ancient styles. The bitterness is a bit too relevant. But the beer is great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Straddles the border of iipa and hoppy American barleywine - lots of dried fruit, moderate toffee - strong woody hop character, pine - stone fruits - nicely done.

Tap at the brewery - cloudy gold - nose is dry, rustic, peppery, with a bit of cracked wheat, hay, ginger - flavor is lightly sweet and tropical up front, but it dries out fast, getting peppery, with notes of gingerbread, clove, cardamom - finish has lingering spice, with a slight returning sweetness - I quite enjoy this.
