Bière m’ayant été offerte quand j’ai acheté 330$ de bière chez un détaillant spécialisé (je sais, je suis parfois excessif) sur laquelle j’ai assez dormi ;-) En fait, elle fût rendue disponible en juin 2015. Le nez est composé d’épices, de banane, de grain et de miel. En bouche, l’alcool se fait extrêmement discret (mais pas dans mon être). Les levures, le poivre blanc et le biscotti composent le palais. C’est une très bonne bière, qui a possiblement pavé la voie pour les excellentes saisonnières qui ont suivi...

Canette 473ml. Perception de caramel, de cassonade et de noisettes en olfactif. Les noisettes se déclinent surtout dans des tons de pacanes et de pistache, tandis que la présence de notes de cassonade envahit les sucres. Brune aux reflets rubis, elle développe une bonne mousse crémeuse et persistante de couleur beige. Les tons de noisettes sont beaucoup plus présents en entrée de bouche; agrémentés d’une effervescence très active. Présence d’une amertume terreuse et résineuse en fin de bouche. La cassonade forme aussi le lit des sucres avec un soupçon de caramel. Bel équilibre des saveurs. Bel exemple du style. Agréable.

Purchased an 8-pack of these at a Hull IGA. Pours a mildly hazy, light golden colour with a fizzy white head that disappears rather quickly and leaves no lacing. Hints of malts in the nose. The taste has some very mild sourness, kind of like infected. Light grain follows. A light brew like it should be. Just not sure about the infection part at this point in time with this long lasting brewery.

As Nuit Blanche. golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light butterscotch, light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light cloves, banana, interesting. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau 2016.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light butterscotch, light grassy hops, light mineral notes. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, pleasant. On tap at Montréal Airport location.

Pours a slight hazy, light golden-yellow colour with a foamy white cap, decent stay and some soapy lace. Fresh grassy smell with hints of Belgian Ale yeast and mild grain malts. The taste is hoppy overall with some hints of cereal in the background. Wow, these two India Session Ale this brewery make (Blonde and Rousse) are sure something. Hard to noticed the low alcohol content.

Hazed by tiny particles, light golden-amber colour with a good off-white head, decent retention and lots of sticky lace. Caramel aromas with nice hops. After breathing, some dark fruit notes come out with hints of apples. The taste is a little bitter over mild roasted and caramel malts. Decent dryness in the aftertaste. Pretty good session India Red Ale for such a low alcohol content.
