Slightly hazy golden pour, medium white head. Big banana aroma, with some light clove, and a lot of wheat. Mouth feel seems thin, carb is OK. Finish is a little sweet, and a tad buttery, with zero bitterness. This has promise, just needs a little tinkering.

Dark ruby, light brown pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is very malty, and quite sweet. Lots of bread, and sweet grains. Caramels and slight nuttiness round it out. The finish is very low on the bitterness scale, with just boat loads of sweet, bread malts. Sweetness approaches cloying at the end.

Typical golden ale for the masses. Light malts, no hops, faint corn, and vegetables. Boring, and bland.

Has some haze. Thin head. Has bitterness but hops aren’t super fresh. That cardboard element…it’s their own branded restaurant at YUL so not really able to give them a pass on freshness. Ok malt, hint of biscuit.

Draught, YUL. Pale and hazy, thick head. Balanced, moderate bitterness, nice sweetness but these hops don’t seem super fresh. Otherwise this would be quite a bit better.
