cask ... gravity at Cloisters ... nice ruby red ... sweet toffee cherry malts ... juicy and sweet ... dark berried frutis ... light hop ... some gentle spice... so bummed out that i fell i’ll and wasnt able to hit this again when it actually came on.

Bottle at home on 3rd December 2009. Pours gold with thisk, lasting foamy yellow-white head. Splendid hop aroma with floral, citric and fruity notes. A beautifully hoppy main kick with grassiness and peppery notes and a dry finish. All slightly rounded by a subtle malty undertone. A fine, well-crafted bottled ale, amongst the best I have tasted in some time.

Dear friends I’ll rate my bottles when I’m over in Scotland with the bottles :-). Can be ordered from the brewerys homepage! live from Scotland - package arrived and no one had touched them! Bottle, 2009-12-20, Uddingston AR: Burned suger, malt AP: Dark brown/redish tone, 1 cm high rocky head F: a bit bitter to start with but a nice mild finish, roasted malt, great bitterness, not so much of a christmas ale here - i.e not a good x-mass ale! Brought one over to Sweden for the Scotish tasting 2010-02-10! A bit dangeraous - do they usually only last for a couple weeks. Re rated it to 3,8 so avarage would be 3,5!

Live Rating. 22nd November 2009. Enjoying this beer now in a bottle at home. Pours slightly hazy amber with a thick pale brown head. A touch of nuttiness with toasted malt aromas in the beginning; citric hop ahd some dry bitterness late with quite a dry, bitter finish on a slightly textured and refreshing mouthfeel. A very good bottle.
