Hazy white color. Looks nice. Ok intensity in the aroma. Full body. Fresh and easy to drink. Citric, rice, yeast, some spices and a mild fruity flavor. Decent warming alcohol. Unusual refreshing and nice sake.

Clear pale golden (almost no color at all) color with no head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Something that reminded me of sherry popped up in my nose. Not the typical junmai stuff aroma. Medium + body. Oily texture and a decent sweetness. Mild acidity. Rice, some spices and a pleasant fruity flavor. Dangerously well masked alcohol.

Clear pale golden color, and off course no head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and an oily texture. Nice round and mellow sweetness. Rice, mild basement, apple and some spices. A bit refreshing actually. Complex and tasty. Well masked alcohol.

Appearance: Clear pale golden color with head. No head no lacing.
Aroma: Basement, fruity and rice.
Palate: Medium body and slightly sweet. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Apple, fusel, rice, fruity and yeast. Well masked alcohol.
Overall impression: I did not fancy this one. The other sake I tried from Nøgne Ø was really good..

Well this one was just clear and some bubbles within. Sparkling as they say. Yeast, basement, mild citric, fruity and rice. Hmmm good or bad? A lot better than usual and quite unusual refreshing. A bit oily texture. Well masked alcohol. Nah I do not think I will buy this one.

Mørk brun med noe beige skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade, lakris, rødvin og trevirke. Fyldig. Smaker alkohol, svisker, mørk sjokolade, fat og lakris. Lang.

330 ml bottle in excessive packaging, from Vinmonopolet Stavanger Tasta. ABV is 16%: Pitch black colour, minimal brown head of poor retention. Aroma of molasses, fusel, chocolate, coffee, oak and tokaji sweet wine. Very sweet flavour with the same elements, more distinct tokaji now, also distinct bittering hops. Not superbly balanced. Way overpriced.

n my opinion, it is a rather good pale ale with again a resinous aroma, dry and a bit fruity, bitter and not the sensation to get 13 hops, 02.05.19, at Epalinges.
