Semi opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light dark malts, a little chocolate. Lots of prune, ripe marsala ripe citrus and stone fruits sit behind. A little bit of alcohol spice betrays the 15% abv. A ripe, rich and tasty affair

Bottle. Distinct and delicious boozy aroma with dark dried fruit, chocolate, some coffee hints and a touch of oak. Hints of licorice. Nice tannins and a good bitterness to balance the sweetness. Perhaps not as complex as I wished for, but certainly worth repeating. 848415 260312

0,5 boks fra Helgø Meny Hundvåg, hjemme: klar kobbergylden med ok skum. Behagelig aroma og smak med citrus, brød og litt urter. God maltsmak i avslutningen. En kompetent pøseøl men ellers ikke noe minneverdig. Begrepet "fatøl på boks" gir omtrent like mye mening som "levende torsk i skiver".
Fra fat på Zacchen mens vi ser Gutan ydmyke Sporting Lisboa: en adskillig bedre smaksopplevelse enn boksversjonen. Fin furunåls/eukalyptusbitterhet og god maltsmak. Opp fra opprinnelige 5.6.

330 ml bottle at a stiff price, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Distinct and boozy aroma of Scotch whisky, oak, brown sugar and dried figs. Warming and rich mouthfeel. Sweet and rich flavour with the same elements as the aroma. Moderate hops.
