Møtereferat fra et særdeles givende arbeidsmøte i Jæren Fråholdslag, hvor vi etter en lang saksliste nå er over på Eventuelt: brunsvart uten skum. Mørk lakris, mørke 80%-sjokolader, rosiner/svisker, Madeira mm. Muligens et svakt preg av oksidering. En stor opplevelse uansett og helt på sin plass at dette ble min rating nr. 15.000! 0,33 flaske tappet 28.08.12.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is juicy, syrupy, roasty malts. Taste is full, roasty, intense, boozy, mild oak. Bit soy. Very intense. Doesn't deliver the greatness I would expect for a drink of 16%, there's lower alc beers that are way more enjoyable .

Pours black with a very small head. Aroma is Madeira, raisins and whiskey. Flavour is oak casks, whiskey, peat and warming alcohol.

A bottle that has been in the cellar for a decade maybe. Semi opaque dark brown beer, a decent bubbly tan head that dies quickly. A pretty light palate all things considered. Slightly earthy darkish malts, touches of dark chocolate and malt cream. Blackcurrant punches through and turns this into a sharply tart affair. Light finish. It's kinda of one note affair. Not awful by any means but, for me, an experiment that hasn't really been a winning one

Bottle @ Herøya. Uncelar orange, golden, slightly grey body under a thin, disappearing white head. Aroma is acidic with malt, lemon, funk and wood and a touch of acetone. Taste is quite acidic with malt, wood, funk, sour plum, lemon and acetone. Balanced body with a sharp, bone dry, acidic finish. Refreshing, but quite acidic for drinking the whole bottle, relatively much acetone as well. Still interesting and definitively a full blood lambic.

Pours dark -almost black- brown with no head. Aroma is Madeira, raisins and dried fruit. Given the ABV mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side. Flavour is Madeira, ash, raisins, oak casks and alcohol. Perhaps a bit too young at the moment.
