Sample, thanks to Kolshtrinker! Pours clear deep mahogany, big brandy nose. Taste is deep complex, layered, warming alcohol, pretty mental in general. Nice gentle acidity. Underneath it all the quince sweetness underpins things, with a good sherry sweetness and burnt caramel. Not like any cider I've ever tried before.

Sample thanks to kolshtrinker. Pours clear pale gold. Aroma has strong slick high-alcohol quince perry. Taste is again quite strong, high strength perry, fairly sweet quince, a touch of bitterness creeping in. Generally light on the palette with some wine-like acidity. Not too bad.

Sample thanks to Kölshdrinker! Many thanks! Pours a deep dark purple. Aroma is sweet cough syrup, dark berry sweetness, rosehip perhaps. Taste is fairly rich, some cough syrup with a strange strong herbal sweetness, reminds me of the blueberry stuff jagermeister put out twice a year. Not sure this is technically cider, a rosehip liquor perhaps.

Sample thanks to Koelschtrinker. Pours pale yellow, clear. Aroma has spice, ginger. Sweet apple. Fairly light and perhaps a touch oily on the palatte. Taste brings subtle spice, not overtly gingery, with lightly slick apple fruit, faint cognac.

Sample from Kölschtrinker. Many thanks! Pours clear amber, aroma has indeed some coffee amidst rich apple / cognac. Taste sees coffee trying to mingle against a cognac backdrop producing some woody tobacco notes. Im not the biggest fan of coffee in anything other than a cup by itself but i can appreciate what they’ve tried to do here.

Sample courtesy of Koelshdrinker. Many thanks mate! Drunk on a balmy Sunday evening. Pours clear gold, strong aroma encompassing strong rich pure apple fruit, floral elements, floor varnish. Taste is exceedingly rich, almost spirit-like in its alcohol presence, and in fact almost unrecogniseable as a cider. Slick on the palate with concentrated apple fruit, vodka hints. No discernible rosemary or thyme unfortunately. Powerful drop.

Shared with Beerhunter111 and Koelschtrinker. Intense sticky caramelly nose. The coder starts very concentrated. Caramelly parts, very interesting. The rose-hip is potentially there - expected something complete different. Depp caramelly aftertaste with hints of fruity sourness. Very deep and interesting, caramelly ending, fruity and fascinating!
