From tap at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival Hoogeveen 2019. Roasty aroma with coffee, chocolate, and a touch of liquorice. Roasted malts. Some sharp flavours, but not bothersome. Mild to medium bitter and moderate sweet flavour. Medium to full body. Pretty good Stout.

My Eisbock-Week, Day 3. 0,33 l bottle from Slijterij d'r bij, Veendam. Nearly black in the glass, small short living head. Aroma? Burnt plastic, malt, boozy. Taste starts with malt, also the infused whisky, some vanilla in the background. Alcoholic. Really an Eisbock?

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a small head. Malty-spicy-alcoholic aroma. Starts intense malty, spicy, some soapy notes, some spices. Herbal background, some hay, some syrup. Finish moldy-malty. Could be more balanced. Strange...

0,33 l bottle from Bij Thijs, Vlagtwedde. BB 12/24. Cloudy yellow golden in the glass with a nearly two finger white foamy head. Tropical fruity aroma, grape, citrus some pale grain. Taste starts with ctirus, less grape, increasing pale grain, getting more dry in the second part. Gooseberries and soft bitterness in the aftertaste. Below average carbonation. Way more taste than expected.
