A reddish copper brown lager with a thin mocha head. In aroma,, sweet nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, light coffee grind, light nutty notes, OK. In mouth, a nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light herbaceous character, smooth and quaffable. On tap at Arrow and Loon.

Sampled at the Loon. Slightly hazy rich amber colour with a small off-white head and decent lace. Holy fruity ! Sweet oranges and then some watermelon with hints of grass in the nose. The hops are little more present in the taste, over the fruity malts. Mouthfeel is slightly dry. Not bad, but seems more like an old school IPA with the hop being milder over the malt.

Pours a real dark amber colour with a beige head and wet lacing. Banana nose with some sweetness. The taste is pretty sweet, but not fully maple, more on the brown sugars side of things. Goes away quickly (thankfully) as not too syrupy. Mild hops in the finish, but real mild. Wet mouthfeel with light stickiness. A little too sweet, wet and does not sit well overall. Not my kind of maple beer.

Bottle - Light toast and caramel. Hazy brown with a beige head. Toast and twig with some caramel. A rich long bitter finish, much like a Bitter.

Bottle - Dark chocolate and sweet cherry. Deep jet brown with almost no head. Dark roast and light cherry sweetness with a toast finish. A little cough syrup like for my taste.

A brown ale with a thick frothy big bubbled brown head, over carbonated. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with wooden maple syrup, light vanilla, nice if a bit cloying. In mouth, a rather sweet fruity malt with maple syrup added, light vanilla, not bad but too sweet.

Had right before the Great Lakes Brewing Limp Puppet as both are Session IPAs. Pours a cloudy light yellow colour with a white head, decent retention and lacing. Light hoppy aromas. Very mild taste, but nice overall for a session ale with good grain and hops. Nice grainy stickiness mouthfeel. Very sessionable, but not as good as the Limp Pumpet, nor the Detour from Muskoka.
