Description
Kent Brewery aims to drag Kent beer into the 21st Century with new tastes and experiences mixed with the best of Kentish brewing traditions. We aim to bring innovation back into the Kent hop trade to feed a new and vibrant brewing market and so help to rejuvenate the local hop-growing industry.

Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, caramel, vomit - sewer, rotten-egg ! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, acidic fruity, malty, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110430]

RBESG August 2011, Craft Beer Co. Golden with a small white head. Caramel aroma with herbal and citrus hops. Sweetish heral and grassy flavour with a touch of ginger. Quite bitter finish

RBESG August 2011, Southampton Arms. Amber with a small white head. Aroma of toffee and biscuit, with a fruity touch. Sweetish caramel and toffee flavour with grassy hops and a medium bitterness

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Deep clear gold. Lasting cream coloured head. Herby beer in great nick. Maybe a touch too early to come on. Nutty herby. Decent flavours. Has an autumnal feel.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Clear amber beer, residual white head. Mild caramel malt. Quite well balanced with mild orange hops. Semi dry finish. Ok bitter.

Cask at The Euston Tap. Pours clear brown with a foamy, white head. Bit oif toast andf leaves on the nose. Light sweet flavoir, slightly tangy malts, faint plastic, toast, leaves. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Toasty finish, dry leafy bitterness, light burnt sugar, still some plastic. So so.

[ As Kent Royal Reading ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, malt, light hoppy, citrus, sewer. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the Grape and Grain Autumn beer festival 2011, Crystal Palace. Gold pour with a white head. Caramel and citrus aroma. Citrus flavour with a nice caramel hit. Lightly dry. Good ale for early autumn.

Cask at CBC. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Biscuity, lightly grainy malts in the aroma, some subtle hops and hay. Medium sweet flavor with good hop balance. Crispy malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild citrus and faint tang in the finish, some cereal, grain, and straw. Good stuff, easy to drink.

Cask at the White Horse, Parson’s Green. It pours golden yellow, with a thin, foamy white head. The nose is ginger, sulphur, melon, white bread and light floral. The taste is soap, ginger, melon, pear, hay, straw, honey sweetness and floral, with dryness in the finish. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Not great.
