Sample @ Stadsbrouwhuis, Leiden.

0.33 l bottle from ’Wines & More’ (Leiden), best before November 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a large, foamy, almost stable, white head. A bit sweetish, moderately grassy and slightly spicy-fruity aroma of straw, some grains and hints of citrus. Sweetish, slightly fruity-grassy and a bit spicy taste of straw, some citrus, even hints of grapefruit and a bit of grains, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter and a little dry finish. Medium body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Easily drinkable, no rocket science but at least quite refreshing.

Tap at NBPF. Murky light brown with cream colored head. Pine, canned pineapple, tin, mineral, soft caramel. Interesting aroma, really strong on canned fruits but not bad. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with an unfortunate watery feel which makes the canned notes come out more.
