Bold punchy hits of mango and papaya, some passionfruit, goosberry and white grape, citrusy fruity notes in play as well, nice malty backing with a balanced bitter hoppy finish. Very nice indeed.

Intense punchy fruity goodness with big hits of mango and tangelo, juicy nectarine flesh, some white grape, getting some mosaic blueberry chiming in, dense semi sweet creamy malty backbone, big dank hoppy finish. Lovely. Another winner from this great series.

Hazy, golden colour with a good frothy white head, good retention and foamy lacing. Getting some mango, tropical fruits in the nose, over the citrus (grapefruits, lemons, limes, mild oranges). A juicy mouthfeel with a building dryness. Good tropical-stone fruitiness in the taste with the drying citrusy zestiness in the end. A lime touch from the Motueka lingers on the tongue. A good fruity NEIPA with good, strong-building zesty dryness.

On tap at River Road Tavern after work.
Cloudy murky dark yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Fresh squeezed juice with bits of earth and grass with a hint of bready malt. Ugly beer but smells and drinks great.

On tap at Messorem. Pours black with a small brown head. Huge bourbon, dark sugars, and roast on the nose. Flavour has tons of woody bourbon barrels up front, some char, nice roast. Full-bodied. Pretty hot finish. Great complexity here. Fantastic.

On tap at Messorem. Pours black with no head; long legs. Huge hit of bourbon barrels, dark sugars, and coconut. Flavour is very rich with loads of vanilla, coconut, and chocolate; wafers and dark sugars. The bourbon barrels are very well integrated and offset the sweetness of the base very nicely. Still on the sweet side, but this is fantastic.

City Tap draught, 6/5/26.
Skunky with black pepper, preserved lemon and fresh squeezed kumquat juice. Malts present but not abusive and there's no sign of alcohol.
Rich, thick, creamy and juicy with fresh squeezed OJ fruitiness drying out to skunky pepper and herb. No alcohol or excessive sweetness keeps it quite drinkable for its size and there's excellent bitterness. Soft, supple, comforting malts. Rich and balanced. You feel the strength, but you should at 10%

City Tap draught, 6/5/26.
Clean, clear, bright Citra giving typical mango and orange notes. Touch of pine/pith on the end to keep it honest. Deep malts but no excess sugar and no alcohol noted. Tangerine and lemongrass appear with warming, building complexity.
Somewhat flat, sweet, moderately bready malts initially, combined with the darker color make me think this is a touch oxidized. Pineapple, tangerine, papaya and lemon with orange and light bread lingering.
