Tap at brewpub Saint-Laurent. A bit hazy pale yellow colour, small white head. Peppery, grassy, a bit fruity aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, a bit peppery, fruity flavour. Decent but could use a bit more malts. Not Belgian ale but session ipa.

Tap at brewpub Saint-Laurent. Bright red colour, small pinky head. Berryish, raspberry like aroma. Light-bodied. Light tartness, blueberry in the flavour. Easy, simple but nicely blueberryish.

On tap at Siboire, pours a hazy dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto and faded tart blueberries. Flavour is pretty weak, with tart, faded blueberries and lacto. The fruit isn't very prominent - it's very mellow and the body is lacking dynamism. It's okay.

On tap at Siboire, pours a cloudy dull golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry saison yeast, with a touch of farmhouse funk, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is crisp, with a nice farmhouse yeast expression upfront and a dry biscuity malt base. Dry and nice use of the yeast. Good stuff.

On tap at Siboire, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with rustic saison yeast and crisp crackery malt. Nice command of the yeast, with a dry, floral finish. Very good.

On tap at Siboire, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters and bubblegum upfront. Thankfully, the flavour isn't too estery or sweet, with Belgian yeast, floral notes and a touch of candied sugar. Not exactly authentic, but much better than many North American tripels. Not a bad attempt.

On tap at Siboire, pours an opaque milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of yeast soup, along with chalk, and a touch of dankness. Flavour is very yeasty, with lots of pithy stone fruits, yeast soup, chalk, and sweet resinous hops. Simply too yeasty. Meh.

On tap at Siboire, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma smells like fresh oats, with dry toasted malt. Flavour is hearty and dry, with lots of dry oats, dry cocoa and toasted malts. Creamy and dry. Good stuff.

On tap at Siboire, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is lifted with diacetyl, followed by some citrus hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is thankfully less ruined by the diacetyl, with lots of juicy stone fruity hops. Unfortunately, even a trace of diacetyl is too much for me. Needs fixing.
