Description

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is bready brown malt with caramel, toffee, dried fruits, plum, spicy notes, Belgian yeast, touch of candy and nuts. Flavour is medium sweet with a relatively noticeable bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Better than I expected from the average score, but lacks body and depth.

Towering, dense & fine, fluffy and just yellowish head over lively carbonated pale golden beer with lacerings. Chalk, yeast, spicy malts. Some strange other grains impression, and sugar. Rather bitter-bitterish taste, with a somewhat sweeter finish, again referring to white sugar. More spicy malts and the label indeed testifies of some pretty strange adjuncts. Wether this is better quality remains to be seen. Somebody might explain to them that rice is considered low quality adjunct, even if it comes from ngo operated paddies. Something as felt retronasal. Fluffy, creamy texture, medium bodied at least, high carbonation. OK, but nothing special. Txs to Stef!

Medium, lightly yellowish head over finely carbonated orange-golden beer. Spicy nose, bit spicy malts. Sports a slightly sourish aspect, citrus, fake citrus - coriander. Peppery & coriander, fake citrus, again spicy - malty. Bit meaty - as sparsely spiced stock. Pearjuice, bit peppery and almost not sweet. Bit slick, medium bodied at best, good carbonation. Not bad, but nothing exhilarating either, here. Dull, the hallmark of third world fans? And as food for thought, rice is considered an inferior adjunct to beer - or is that waved because of the Thai origin? Txs to Stef!
