Description
Septem Microbrewery was founded by the chemist and oenologist Sophocles Panagiotou and the economist Georgios Panagiotou and began distributing its first batch of fresh unpasteurised beer in June of 2009.

Our mission is to provide our customers with fresh, high quality products by taking advantage of the wealth of aromas and flavours in malt and hops while searching for the diverse flavours they have to offer. Our vision is to become a premier Greek microbrewery whose products will be a point of reference for a distinctive quality beer, synonymous with gastronomic pleasure.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Bought under its alias "Septem Thursday’s Premium Red Ale". Clear amber coloured brew with an dry bitter taste and hints of caramel and roasted malts. This Greek craftbrew have something American over it, with an little bit of England too.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear dark brown coloured brew with an nice dry bitter taste and hints of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Very nice Aegean Porter drunk it under its alias "Septem Saturday’s Seasonal Porter".

Tap at Cafe Hesp, Amsterdam: Clear orange colored brew with an dry bitter taste and hints of citrus. Very goof Greek surprise at an Amsterdam beer bar.

Bottle in 🇬🇷. Soft and fruity aroma with hints of sweet citrus, caramel, malts and some hops.
Medium sweet malty flavour with hints of fruits, hops and bread. Slightly bitter and dry in the aftertaste.

Bottle at the hotel, picked up from Barley Cargo, Athens 11/10/24. Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a lasting beige head. Nose is chocolate, toffee, dried fruits, mellow roast. Taste comprises baking powder, cocoa dusting, light roast, toffee, brown sugar dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay porter ... lacks a little depth and comes in a touch on the sweet side.
