Description
Centuries of brewing tradition, the best ingredients and strict compliance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 are quality that you can taste with every sip! The Rittmayer Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in Forchheimer Land. The family business dates back to 1422. The brewery even received its own coat of arms certificate from the Count of Kulmbach because of its good beer.
In spring 2012, our new brewery on the outskirts of Hallerndorf went into operation right next to our filling center. It is one of the most innovative medium-sized breweries in all of Germany.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before June 2021. Hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, a little floral aroma of grains, honey and some wort. Gently sweet, slightly bitter, rather malty and minimally floral taste of grains, honey, corn flakes and wort, followed by a short, slightly bitter, gently worty finish. Medium body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Typical Alkoholfreies, nothing special.

330 ml bottle. Cloudy dark orange, fluffy head. Orange peel, some overripe pear, yeast, booze. Fruity yeasty sweetness, slightly dry. Medium bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonated, dry boozy finish. Just alright, but too boozy for just 5.9 abv.

Bottle, mid amber good head. Grainy nose, not much Aroma. Flavor is grainy but watery, not much hops, at least it's not super sweet and wort-y. Slight bit of traditional hops detectable plus some mild acidity.

Fles gedeeld door Tomhendriksen en gedronken met Benzai en Keukeman. Amberkleurig helder bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma van karamel en een beetje mout. Smaak is moutig en hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.
