T: medium malty base, banana, fennel, herbal touch, bit lemon, decent bitterness, medium to high carbonation, refreshing, enjoyed.

On tap at Les Cuves de Fauve - Restaurant + Bar à craft beer + Micro-brasserie Sunday 4th September 2022 after the wonderful Cezanne in Provence digital art Installation at L'Atelier des Lumières. Pours hazy warm gold with a white head. Nice aroma, there is a little lavender Nice softness, a little tartness but super refreshing. Good fruity, dry, nice.

Bottle 37.5cl. @home poured into a tasting glass. Sour cherry nose. Deep dark brown colour, small fizzy quickly disappearing beige head, light lacing. Fruity aroma, brett, cherries, wood, light vinegar. Smooth taste, light to medium sweet and sour, light bitter notes, cherries, wood, vinous impression. Medium body, oily to sticky texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweet and sour aftertaste, light bitter notes, cherries, woody notes, refreshing, very nice.

Arbitrary rating for appearance 8/10 due to insufficient lighting Nice aromatic nectarine nose, hint of lime, green leaves & fruit. Fresh fruitflavour (obvious nectarine) with a background of (other) malts. There is a strange, if very light, smoked impression. Light body, quite (fruit)slick. Medium to well carbonated. Good fruitbeer. Txs to Stef!

330ml bottle. Murky, brown colour with huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous to beige head. Veggie and mildly smoky aroma, weak hints of wood ashes, a touch of grilled Brussels sprouts sweet-ish, nutty, malty background. Taste is dry, minimally soapy, minimally nutty malty with little residual sweetness, waxy hoppy overtones, light smokiness. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. Nothing wrong, but not overly intense, neither really compelling nor overly appealing - so-so.

Dorée-pâle, col fin blanc.
Arôme au nez houblonné plutôt noble, effet grains - seigle, presque sur un léger fumé (effet du foin et de la citrouille grillée ?). Rétro-nasal est finement fruité noble.
Palais est sec, finement malté allant presque vers un léger fumé, effervescence faiblarde, le tout parait un peu BA, pointe fine de funk, élements terreux qui persistent en retrait - je vois après sur le descriptif que la bière comporte de la citrouille grillée. Cela apporte ce côté fumé que je détecte.

Blended sour ale, similar to the 2020 version but with different proportions of top-fermented saison with 'wild' beer (70/30 in the 2020 version, 80/20 in the 2021 version), by this French craft brewer located near Montpellier in southern France. Thin, loose and open, snow white, moussy head on a misty pale yellow-golden beer. Aroma of ripe pineapple, sugared tea, Doyenné pear, brioche bread, sweet cicely or anise, yoghurt, sulfuric touch in the background. Tart, fruity onset, green pear and pineapple esters, minerally carb, supple cereally and sweet-bready maltiness softly edged by a tart lactic dryness, evoking green apple and unripe pear impressions, next to this gentle but noticeable anise- and ‘drop’-like herbal aspect. Mild herbal hops, remaining very soft in bitterness so that its refreshing, mild, gentle character is maintained till the last drop. Clever and elegant beer, not overspiced like I was fearing but instead kept well in balance.
