Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Etre. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a fluffy, fading white head. Lightly sweet with notes of wheat flakes, cracked grains, dried bailouts, lemon rind, straw. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Clean finish. Tasty, subtle stuff. It grew on me.

Clear yellow, unstable, frothy, white head. Aroma of young aple, mandarin, unripe peach, cheese, funky hay, grass. Taste has sweet-sour apple, mandarin and lemon acid, funky & grassy notes. Tart, yellow-fruity finish with woody grapes and tannins. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Decent but bit too easy-going actually.

Taste has sweetish-sour apple & pear, lemon acid note, spicy-herbal effect. Tart, yellow-fruity finish, quite herbal and somewhat funky. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Quite good, just not that outspoken.

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Scent is sharp, tart, some oak. Taste is fairly full, tart, oak (new oak) , decent , but misses 'a little something' to go the extra mile. Medium thin body. Medium to slightly above medium carbonation.

Pours a bit unclear yellow. Small white head. Scent is full, very spiced. Intense and sharp. Taste is sharp, dry, intense spices, herbal. Not very strong in naming the specific herbs myself, but I aint very fond of them.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear pale brown, small head. Oaky nose with some red wine and hay. Mildy tart with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Oaky red wine, crisp bread, elderflowers. Mid bitter finish. Elegant and interesting.

[ As La Malpolon Garde Folle ].
ABV: 7.9%. ✅ Clear medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, sweet malt, caramel, sour - tart, barrel, grapes, vinous, plums. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sour - tart, sweet malt, caramel, wood - barrel, yeast, vinous, balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Dorée sur un col léger blanc.
Arôme est sur l'herbacé, assez unique, frais, forêt rencontre la montagne- nez assez sauvage sur le funk et les bretts sur des effluves fines de vin blanc et léger boisé - le tout s'approche d'un lambic. Bcp d'herbes/plantes (11) et juste qcq unes ressortent assez bien. Côté sureau est également plus en retrait.
Palais oscille de suite sur ce côté herbacé/botanique avec un penchant pour une infusion type gruit - herbacé sauvages. Le palais reste assez sec, sur une effervescence moyenne-haute qui fait ressortir ce côté rustique - le tout avec une petite note de thym, aneth, herbes de sous-bois du sud.Pas franchement noté le sureau tout comme le vin - mais cela reste juste, complexe et intéressant.
