Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

440ml can, shared at Message in a Bottle, Cleethorpes on 23rd April 2022. Not too sure why I decided to try this to be honest, but between three of us it was OK. Hazy body, light orange/banana yellow (not really), white crust. Banana nose and taste, lactose like feel. Swiftly moved onto the next beer in the session.

[Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading.] A murky straw coloured pour with a thin white head and ample lacing; wheat aroma with some lemon and lychee; quite acidic taste with a wheaty body; and a dry biscuity finish. Rather unappealing.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A glossy peaty brown pour with a thin coffee coloured head; aroma of maple syrup and fudge; smooth malty body with coffee, fudge and maple, the sweetness nicely balanced by the bitter roast of the malt; then a long coffee finish, and a mellow feeling of satisfaction.

Can from The Weather Station, Reading. Pours murky dark orange brown with a dissipating beige cap. Honey & caramel in the aroma, herbal too. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, honey, bittersweet caramel, candied peel. Medium body with low carbonation. Think the style is wrong here, it's never a DIPA for me .

Tight beige head in a vivid orange coloured body. Nectarine & vegetal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & clean. Orange, pineapple, white wine & sweet fruity tastes with a tangy finish. No hint if alcohol - could actually pass as an orange smoothie.
