Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours murky gold with lots of material floating in suspension - maybe yeast - and a tight, creamy white cap. Aroma holds lots of doughy white bread, perhaps some ripe citrus. Medium to big sweet flavor, some sticky citrusy hops, hints of grass and pine needles, biscuits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, sticky finish, lots of resinous hops, some grapefruit, grass, papaya. Sime light mineral dryness. The beer looks pretty dire but the rest of the journey goes alright.

Keg at the Euston Tap - London. Pours hazy gold with a fine, creamy white head. Dry lemon and other citrus in the nose, hints of white wood, hay. Medium sweet flavor with subtle barrel notes, some orange citrus, mld tangerine, pale malts, nip of alcohol. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. The chillies come through more in the finish, but they aren’t so powerful as to be obnoxious. Well integrated spiciness. Some dry black pepper. A bit of boozy warmth mixed with peppery heat in the throat. Still some further dried out citrus fruits, mostly orange, lemon and tangerine, with suggestions of grapefruit. On paper this beer beer really shouldn’t work as well as it does. A creative recipe executed very well. A mature beer.

Palate: Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Fizzy carbonation.
Overall: A good session strength beer - light, crisp and moreish. Well suited to keg.

Euston Tap. Opaque dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Palate is soft with fine carbonation. Lovely sweet vanilla ice cream! Mild dark malt with a light touch of chocolate. But this really is a vanilla sweet treat! Crispy minerals. Way too drinkable!

Aroma: Difficult to detect - very light aroma of grass, lemon and pale malt.
Appearance: Murky pale golden body with a foamy white head. Very lively carbonation. Excellent lacing.
Taste: Simple lemon and earthy/grassy flavours. Light bitterness. To me, this tastes more like a Golden Ale than an IPA.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Average carbonation.
Overall: It’s clean and easy drinking but there’s not a great deal going on with this beer. A little disappointing given how much I like other beers brewed by Harbour.
