Kolor jasny herbaciany, klarowny. Piana biała, wysoka i długotrwała. Początkowo drobno pęcherzykowa z czasem, redukując się, przybiera formę średniej wielkości pęcherzyków. Brak zdobień.
Aromat mocno kwaśny, intensywnie owocowy, dziki, jednocześnie, z delikatnie słodkim tłem. Kwaśność przypomina fermentujące owoce (jabłka), nuty dzikie, to zapachy z gospodarstwa wiejskiego. Akcenty słodkie kojarzą się z żółtymi, dojrzałymi owocami.
Smak przyjemnie kwaśny z odrobiną pestkowej, "suchej" goryczki, która intensyfikuje się na finiszu.
Alkohol dobrze ułożony. Wysycenie wysokie w dół. Tekstura delikatnie szorstka, sucha. Posmak długi, kwaśny z wyraźnie pestkowym, goryczkowym wykończeniem.

0.375 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', bottled in February 2025. Slightly hazy, golden orange with a medium large, slightly fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, rather funky and quite fruity aroma of horse blanket, overripe lemon, grapefruit, hay and some white pepper. Slightly sweet, gently sour, rather fruity, gently funky and minimally vinous taste of grapefruit, overripe lemon, hay, white pepper, oak, leather and some red wine, followed by a medium long, gently tart, fairly woody-dry finish. Medium body, gently astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, very lively carbonation. Highly delicious brew, unbelievably refreshing for such a high lambic, pleasantly crisp and dry. Gorgeous beer!

Clear orange beer, dense creamy white head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, some tropical fruits, juicy, funky, brett notes, floral, peaches, pleasant! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, very fruity, acidic, a bit lemony, some tannins, more lemons, pleasant! Aftertaste: fruity, pleasant, gentle bitterness, some pears, nice stuff!

Clear pale blond yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: very nice, complex, very fruity notes, apples, gentle acidic impression, very pleasant, floral notes, a little woody. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: ooh nice, very “mellow” geuze, a little bitter, quite some tannins going on here, apples, apple skin, nice and funky. Aftertaste: more ripe fruits, apples, very pleasant, tannins, woody, good stuff!

Clear golden, thin, stable, white head. Funky aroma of leather, horseblanket, wet hay, barnyard, green apple, oak. Sour green apple, gooseberry; bitter leather, horseblanket. Dry, bitter, oaky finish, green apple, old grassy hops. Moussy texture. Lovely funky and oaky stuff.

Ureum, wet straw, barnyard, sweating cheese, oak. Sour gooseberry, plum, green apple, funky cheese, straw, bready malts. Slightly bitter & funky leather, grassy hops, tart-woody, very dry. Recognisably complex & dry, as expected of course.

Nice funky aroma. Light bretta, hay, apricots. Dry and slightly sour.. too light though. Almost watery feel.

Pours a medium dark amberblonde. Medium sized head fades relatively fzdt. Overwhelming scent of mature brett, wood, and thick citrusy notes fill the room. Up close, the typical boon character. Full and fruity. Taste is quite dry, intense, noticable boozybess. Typical boon fruityness, and , here it is, it reminds me of vat 77 - one of my favorite lambics, and certainly my fav boon, in terms of fruityness. This one a bit less balanced though, too alcoholic (taste) for it's own good, lacking the superb balance of the actual vat 77, but being compared to that legacy alone is an acomplishment. High but tollerable carbonation. Very decent, i get the special version thing, and wouldn't stock up on it like I did with 77 amongst others, but certainly more than fun to have tried it ! Maybe i'd need to buy another to keep long term, see how the abv influences this in ageing .
