Bottle, 10C. Just hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of wintry oranges, pineapple, passionfruit. A little earthy, some crackers. Nice but maybe a little too like fruit juice for me. But that thought is banished with a sip: all the fruit is there but there’s some hay and a nice solid bitterness too. Slightly creamy texture. Clean straightforward malt. Nice lager.

Pours gold with a small head.Aroma of slightly grainy/cereal malt notes, floral hops, orange blossom and soft peach.Flavours include more of the grainy/biscuity pilsner malt as well as a bit of floral hops.

330 ml bottle into schooner glass. Very active out of the bottle, we got a live one here! Calms down to reveal a murky orange beer with high carbonation and a solid white head. Faint fruity hop nose. Taste is bitter and grainy (is that the wattle?). Finish is an increasingly intense bitterness. It’s good, it’s interesting. Hard to believe it’s only 4%.
