Description
As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.
Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.
We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Murky orange beer with a sweet, hoppy aroma. The flavour is surprisingly restrained, blending some malt and sweetness in with the big hop hit. Delicious.

Bottle at home in London. Pours black-brown with a rich, creamy beige head. Good roasted malt aroma, some milk chocolate, char. Medium sweet flavor, lots of char, baking cocoa, some earth, minerals. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Torched earth bitterness to finish, bittersweet chocolate, faint dried fruits, tar, hard water, burnt wood. Solid.

Bottle from St Albans beer shop. A hazy golden coloured pour with a huge white head on top. Sour, yeasty, spice aroma. Tastes similar, slightly sour, lemon, quite dry and bitter. I really like Weird Beard but this particular beer is not really my thing. I can accept that it is a well made beer though.

Lightly hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate starts smooth and turns minerally crisp. Dry malt, tangy honey - orange. Light touch of fresh orange. Pine and mellow skunk. Little malt cream before a dry finish. Comes together well and is pretty drinkable.
