Bottle, Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Murky amber pour with a a lingering tan head. Aroma was caramel , resinous hop. Slid down nice n’smooth. The sweet malt spine propped up some very decent hoppage quite deftly and a decent balance was struck . Much better than anticipated for some reason and plenty to like about this.

Bottle, Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Hazy amber looks with a reserved white head. Malty/fruity nose. Earthy hop led flavour with notes of fruit, spice and caramel. Dry bitter finish. Slightly rustic bitterness, but a palatable offering overall.

Bottle at home in London - picked up from Kris Wines. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent with a sturdy, frothy white head. The aroma is unbelievably gorgeous, loaded with pithy grapefruit and lightly pissy nelson; it actually brings to mind something from Hill Farmstead. Light sweet flavor with delicate, lightly dry pale malt sweetness, upon which the hops do sing. Just lots more grapefruit pith, lemon rind, pee - I love it. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Perfectly balanced to finish with mild pale, biscuity malts, faint pine needle resin, more grapefruit pith, faint tangy tangerine and lemon. Gorgeous. This is far and away this best beer I have had from this brewery.

Bottle from the Red Squirrel Chesham Brewery Shop. Poured a pale golden colour with a light haze and a large, fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, bready malt and candy sugar. Strong flavours of grapefruit, mango and some brown sugar. Finish had sharp citrus, hop resin and dry grain. An awful lot of flavour punch, considering the strength. Excellent!

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is rich super hoppy weak caramel resin. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a watery spice hop resin palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I think someone dropped the hop bucket, but hey, no complaints :-)
