Yup, I’m getting closer to being almost done with the BMC stuff. Almost there, well, here’s my take on this one.
Always had in a pint glass.
The appearance was always a decent looking yellow color with a decent transparency about it. There was always no head and there almost always was never any lacing.
The smell had some cooked/burnt corn/rice sort of thing going on.
The taste was just sweet and not balanced.
The palate was mainly a light on the body and had a very good sessionability about it.
Overall, this wasn’t a bad AAL, mostly just an average one.

341 ml bottle. Pours a pale golden colour with a small white head. Sweet aroma of lemon ice tea and sugar. Has a lemony, long island ice tea flavour. Not very beer like, but not terrible. Light body with a sticky, watery texture and soft carbonation.

Whoah, I never reviewed this on here. No time like the right time, here we go.
Whenever this was poured out, it was always into a pint glass. However, for the most part, there’s been more than enough times, this has been consumed out of the can (old after hockey beer) or bottle.
The appearance was super light yellow color with a fast rising carbonation filling a rapidly dissipating less than a finger’s worth of white head. Lacing, what lacing, there is no lacing every time I’ve had this.
The smell was cooked corn, kinda coming through in a raw yet bland sort of way, mostly unpleasant every time I’ve had it.
The taste was bland and the cooked corn came back again to ruminate on my taste buds. There is no aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, it sits extremely light and shows more than enough sessionability about it. The carbonation is fairly harsh but actually doesn’t stray too much from this style.
Overall, best thing about this is its palate, other than that, I don’t buy beers based on their palate, so this is a BMC product I usually don’t come back to.

Aluminum bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Tal Levi for this can! Clear yellow golden with almost no head. Aroma of hay, graininess and a metallic hint. Sweetish flavor with graininess and light metallic bitterness. Light-bodied, a bit fizzy.

This pils poured a clear light yellow with a big bright white head. Scents include corn, eggs and cream. First swig was very watery with light malt flavours and a hint of hops. Finish is lightly bitter with a malty corn flavour lingering.

Draught at Darby’s Public House, Vancouver
Pale greenish-yellow color. dry, weak, a bit crispy, with rather low bitterness, and some sweeteners in the final.
Not offensive, just bland.
