0.355 l can from 'Beer Republic', canned in September 2024. Hazy, straw yellow with a thin, fluffy, quickly collapsing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, gently fruity and a little spicy aroma of lemon, rhubarb and light coriander. A little sweetish, gently sour, slightly fruity and a bit spicy taste of lemon, rhubarb, wheat and hints of coriander, followed by a medium long, gently tart, quite minerally-salty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and a bit fizzy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Refreshing Gose, quite salty, very well-balanced sourness though.

Spicy. Sweet. Thick.

Tastes pretty good, with a nutty-cocoa base dusted with caramel, bread, and a dry, firm bitterness. Underlying metallic notes are off-putting, especially as they overpower the nose, coming across sharp and strangely dominant. Not sure what happened with the aroma; otherwise not a bad brown.

Canned 3/4/25, drunk 4/18/25.
Cloudy bronze-to-light-copper. Immediately-fizzling head.
The fabulously mellow, but aromatic base beer shines through with tasteful amount of lime complementing. Nothing overly acidic/punchy. Wonder what the pie part of this is? Maybe vanilla? Maybe lactose? Though if it's lactose, it's highly inoffensive. Juicy, bright and with good salinity.
Hmmm, maybe vanilla and lactose? Definitely some creaminess and a bit milky, but it could be many things. Definitely think vanilla, at the very least. Lime, again, is tastefully-done; not punchy/overly acidic. Soft and chewy, deep wheat-like body and texture with high attenuation and light salinity. Still prefer the original, but this is interesting.
Thanks to Bjrn M. and the gang ?? dark sweet and roasted malty with lots of rich cocoa, layers of caramel and toffee stacking up, rich bourbon boost, full body, nutty almond vanilla and coconut accents throughout into the warming malty finish. Beautiful.
Dark sweet and roasted malty with lots of vanilla and coconut sweetness seeping in, nice array of spices, deep dark chocolate, caramel and toffee sweetness, full body, dark malty finish. Gorgeous.
Sweet dark rich chocolate with some sweet notes of sticky maple shinning through, caramel, toffeish sweetness, full body, lots of dark roasted sweet maple and bourbon coalesce into the decadent sweet malty finish.
