On tap at Modist, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is rich, with intense rye barrels, dark sugars, spicy rye, and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is very sweet, with lots of intense rye barrels, cloyingly sweet sugars, and more sugars. Way too sweet despite its complexity. Good but needs to be honed in better.

Aroma has a good amount of roasty dark grains and some leaves with a hint of chocolate underlying. Flavor has strong roast and creamy earthy dark grains with a hint of bread backing.
