Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden amber with a generous head. Nose - pine, caramel and some citrus. Taste - weird combo of herbs and caramel again. Like lavender toffee if such a think exists. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture, fairly refinish. Overall - so so.

330ml can from Rheged centre. Golden amber colour, white foamy head leaving some lacing and sweet malty, grainy, grassy aroma. Taste is sweetish malt, grains, hay, with grassy earthy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, semi-dry tangy grassy bitter finish. OK

Clear golden colour with thin lacy head. Aroma and flavour remind me of American red ipa's. Lots of floral and resinous hop and hints of caramelised red fruits.

Clear golden colour with big fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have an unusual sweet taste of candy sugar. Quite nice but far away from a Czech Pilsener.

Half pint at Wainwright Pub. Pours near black with a gray head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma is full of dry roasted malts with dark grains and a hint of smoke supporting. Flavor combines earthy dark grains and dry roasted malts with a hint of smoke underlying.

Cask at the Bridge Hotel, Buttermere. Amber with a white head. Green leafy flavour. Light dryness. Reasonably hoppy and quite well balanced, just not sure if I like the flavour of the specific hops used.
