Description
Formed in 2009 as Mitchell Krause Brewing Ltd, the beers were initially contract brewed at Hepworth, Bitter End and Hardknott. In Spring 2013 they opened their own brewery at the current location and renamed it in late 2014 inTractor Shed.

From cask at 301 Miles From London with OGJ 06.01.18. Clear orange golden. Dense white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of piney hops and pale malt. Decent biterness.

Clear golden colour with thin lacy head. Aroma and flavour remind me of American red ipa's. Lots of floral and resinous hop and hints of caramelised red fruits.

Clear blond colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have some light floral notes. Bland but inoffensive.

Clear golden colour with big fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have an unusual sweet taste of candy sugar. Quite nice but far away from a Czech Pilsener.

Half pint at Wainwright Pub. Pours near black with a gray head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma is full of dry roasted malts with dark grains and a hint of smoke supporting. Flavor combines earthy dark grains and dry roasted malts with a hint of smoke underlying.

Bottle from Tebay services on the M6. Colour is amber with no head. Aroma is banana and light citrus. Taste light sweet. Flat body.

Cask at the Bridge Hotel, Buttermere. Amber with a white head. Green leafy flavour. Light dryness. Reasonably hoppy and quite well balanced, just not sure if I like the flavour of the specific hops used.

Bottle from Pennington Hotel in Ravenglass. Pours black with a thin off white head. Aroma is smoke, chocolate, coffee and roast malt with a little sourness. Taste is smoky roast malts that soften and a little chocolate and molasses sweetness on the end. Nice carbonation and a overall not too bad at all.
