The brewery is home to a fifteen barrel brewing system, with beer packaged on site in sixth and half barrel kegs, firkins, pins and cans.

Head brewer Warren “W” Yoder, production manager & lead brewer Lucas Gibson and our family-like team brew favorites and new beers year round.

We self-distribute to shops and taps across eastern and central Iowa. The distro team is led by sales manager Cody Rose and sales associate Alan Horesowsky.

The aromas are slightly old resin hops and some caramel malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, bittersweet with decent carbonation and full body. Not too balanced. A one and done.

12 oz. can from HyVee, Nov '19, Best by 2/26/20. Nicely chilled after a hot summer day. Dark, but not black stout pour, that pulls a nice parfait-like brown head. Smell leads with alcohol. A little heady, but not to excess. A bit of chocolate in the nose as well. Taste is roasty stout, with licorice following in. Sambucca impression grows further down the glass. Slight note of cherry and vanilla. I find the licorice note is a bit much, but maybe others can dig it. My day-before-birthday beer.

Pour is more of the Americanized darker brown with a small thin head. Aroma is a nice toasted white bread. Flavor is smore toast and a small caramel malt presence. Overall pretty thin and some alcohol was noticeable. Drinkable.

From my wife: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is honey, flowers, light cotrix notes. Taste is sweet. Low hops. Easy drinking. Not super complex, bit very refreshing.

Draft at the Iowa Taproom. Gold color with a bit more tint than the usual lawnmower beer. Light, crisp smell, which I thought might a bit of corn to it. The taste is light and dry, with very little off flavor to get in its way. Sets up like an "export" Dortmunder, finishes a little lighter than it starts.

Can from jcwattsrugger, Thanks. Slightly hazy deep golden orange with a small frothy white head. Citrus caramel and orange peel make up most of the aroma. Flavor adds some earth and grass, but I wish it added some hop bitterness. Feels like a mid 1990’s pale ale.

Can from jcwattsrugger, thnaks Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with and orange tint to it and a thin white head that dissipates almost instantly. Sweet bready pilsner malt with faint floral spicy hops to counter. Pretty good body for a 3.8 % beer, great after a sweaty day in the yard.
