Golden. Sweet malty notes over a bit of spice, yeast, floral, and a peppery bite. Earthy. Medium body and smooth. Decent. I wish there was more pepper and less soft malt.

Can pour into Tulip glass from Leary's Fine Wines & Spirits, Newburyport. Appearance is dark, dark brown with ruby--almost opaque black--no discernible sparkle, finger-width audible fizzy light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, maple. Taste is roasted malt with coffee, chocolate, maple, hint of bacon. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with slippery texture, lively carbonation and more bitter than sweet, crisp finish. Overall, decent complexity that works harmoniously. A bit too carbonated and borderline too sweet.

Many thanks to nibleprop for this can! Fruity sour nose, Fresh but not too deep in nose. The beer starts sour mild, fruity but not too deep. Tropical fruit with a smooth sourness. Round but a bit watery in the aftertaste. Fruity mild and still nice.

4 oz. draft at EBF Boston, MA. 3 February, 2018. Huge Brett character with sharp lemon acidic tartness. Pucker is really intense. Lightly tannic. This Overwhelms my palate. Entirely too sour and harsh. Not for me.
