Description
3 Stars Brewing Company is a brewery delivering on the promise of bringing locally hand crafted ales to the DC beer community. The company was founded by Dave Coleman and Mike McGarvey, two longtime friends who decided to seize the opportunity to build a brewery and produce high quality beer in the District of Columbia – hoping to make this world-class city a world-class craft beer destination.
To date, the brewing team at 3 Stars has released over 200 different distinctive beers and cultivated a reputation for pushing the envelope when it comes to creativity. They have been recognized for their commitment to their craft, and have received multiple awards for their achievements.

Tap at EBF, Boston. Color is dark brown with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dryness, gin, some chocolate and malts. Gin works pretty well in this one.

Tap at Dulles Airport, Washington DC. Color is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citrus, hops and malts. Pretty fresh.

750ml bottle, cork. Poured a hazy brown color with a small, almost non-existent off-white head. Aroma was very light tartness, rye notes. Some vanilla, woody notes. Pretty decent.

Bottle from the source. Hazy pinkish red color, light pink head. Nice dusty lemon and blackberry aroma. Taste is lightly tart berries, raw bread, light lemon, full mouthfeel. Very tasty.
