Description
Brewed with spring water from Croasdale Fell, whole-leaf hops, freshly milled barley and live yeast, the Real Ales from Ennerdale have a clean, crisp taste and a dry, moreish finish. After many requests from our customers we've now introduced our range of real ale in a bottle!

Cask @ Guild Ale House, Preston. Dark amber with a glow and a creamy head. Easy seasonal brew, but probably so much so it's hard to class it as a winter warmer or similar.

Bottle. Nose is berries, bread, toffee, malt. Taste is lightly sweet, toffee, hint of caramel, leading to brown sugar, bread and earthy slightly medicinal hops. I really enjoyed this a lot

Bottle from Beer GB. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee, light floral hops. Taste is lemon and custard. Sweet buttery finish.

Bottle from Beer GB. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, bread, light mango. Taste is tropical fruit and blueberry. Light bodied, almost lagery, dry finish.

Can from Beer GB. Pours clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of cereal grains and light lemon zest. Taste is more of the same. Herbal bitter finish. Decent enough.

Can from BeerGB. Appearance - amber with a light haze and a creamy white head. Nose - dried orange, a little cakey. some zest lurking. Taste - malt loaf, toffee, cake, dried orange and pine. Palate - medium bodied, creamy, sweet middle and bitter green finish. Overall - decent.

Can from Beer GB. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of pine, grapefruit, grassy hops. Taste has a bit of sweet malt, bread, citrus fruit and pine again. Light bitter finish.

Bottle from BeerGB. Appearance - golden and fairly clear with a white head. Nose - orange, grapefruit, bread and citrus zest. Taste - grapefruit, bread, light caramel and zest again. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle and the finish is fairly dry. Overall - decent.

Can from BeerGB. Appearance - golden and clear, white head. Nose - grapefruit and pine. Some breadiness lurking. Taste - caramel and bread, then some citrus. Chocolate lime in a way. Palate - light bodied, creamy snd sweet middle and dryish finish. Overall - smelt better than it tasted to be honest.

Cask at GBBF'23, day one, 01/08/23. Mahogany brown with a beige head. Nose is dates, toffee, brown bread, dark malts. Taste comprises biscuit, toffee, grains, dates, dark malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough bitter.
