Awesome! Huge tart/sour berries; honey notes of lemon/orange/floral/earthy spice. Tart/tannic/semisweet finish. Great balance/very drinkable

Same-day howler pour from St. Ambrose. Pale pink pour, unclear, with no head to speak of. Light raspberry and honey in the aroma. Raspberry flavor, slightly medicinal, herbal, honey. Nice and pleasant.

On tap at St. Ambrose. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet cinnamon aroma. Flavor is strong cinnamon, maple, and apple, like apple cinnamon pancakes. Very sweet, which is the only drawback (and even then only after a while).

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Thanks to our host Chris for this one. Rich red / amber coloured pour, quite viscous. Aroma is grapes, sherry, alcohol. Flavour is composed of cherry, hint of tart, sherry, warming alcohol. Some christmas spices, slightly musty. Palate is sticky and sweet, but the tartness cuts through. Good stuff.

375 mL bottle. A still, clear bright yellow mead. Heavy sweet honey aroma, herbal edges and perfumey alcohol potency. Sweet sugary honey flavor, maple syrupy, herbal influence. Rather clean finish for its heft. Really nice.

Small sample followed by "howler" draft pour followed by 750 mL bottle, all from the meadery taproom (not all at once!). Pours a still, clear pale golden, like a white wine. Aroma includes medicinal honey and biscuit. Fairly sweet honey flavor, medicinal herb and licorice. Overall has a honey herbal flavor. Quite good.
