Crisp amber coloured body with a copper glow and a thin, fast-dying tan head. Aroma of light malt, a touch of fruit and a little bit of nuts. Light-bodied; A malty flavour at first with some sweetness from raisins and fruits soon afterwards with a very crisp and nutty finish. Aftertaste shows some sweetness, caramel, fruits and a little malty alcohol finish. Overall, a pretty simple and mild beer - no strong flavours one way or another. Drinkable for sure, but not very enjoyable. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in St. Petersburg, Florida on 13-November-2010 sampled in New Paltz, New York on 19-February-2011.

At Tequesta Brewery on Jan 28, 2011Clear copper color, white head. Hoppy, sweet, fruity taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Herbal, fruity, somewhat phenolic scent.

Couleur qui approche le cuivre/ambre, col est blanc. Je note des esters, sucre brun léger, malt de caramel, qcq notes de levure belge avec un goût de pomme, banane. Fin au palais sans vraiment être une bière qui innove de trop.

Draught: Poured a reddish brown amber with a off white colored head. Aroma was sweet fruit and spice. Taste seemed really grainy and very little of the fruit and spice carried over.

A copper amber ale with a thick receeding white head. A nutty spiced malt aroma, with light milk chocolate notes. In mouth, a sweetish malt with light coriander, some powdery dryish character, light lactic points, and roasted malts. Not bad.

12 oz bottle from Pantani. Nose of sweet caramel with a hint of bubblegum. Clear light amber with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is peppery with caramel and a touch of spiciness. This would be a decent session ale.

On tap at the Titanic brewpub. Pours clear copper color with off white head. Aroma is lots of spices and bread. Flavor is very sweet with malt, clove, caramel, banana and Belgian yeast. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

on tap-pours a white head with bubbles and gold color. Aroma is yeast, rock candy, light malt. Taste is yeast, rock candy, light malt, some clove and banana, faint flat hops. Mild carbonation.

Pours clear copper with creamy off white head. It has a very mild aroma hinting at lightly roasted malts and not much else. The flavor is much bolder than the aroma indicated. I get roasted malts, Belgian candi sugar and some caramel. I get some malt astringency that plays very nicely against the malty and candi sweetness and the dark fruity esters that follow which float notes of prunes and dates. Excellent medley of flavors that go well together.
