Tap at Barcade, New York. Colour is cloudy reddish brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, apples, caramel, some alcohol, sweetness and malts. You can actually taste apples in this which is strange. One of the strangest beers for a while.

32oz growler from Shoreline Beverage pours a murky black with some creamy off white head. Nose has spice, cinnamon, some nutmeg, a little pepper, malt, brown sugar, some burnt maple, a little sumac. Flavor is sweet with licorice and brown sugar, light spice, sumac, a little smoke, chewy grains. Full bodied and mostly dry.

Draft @ The Pony Bar - 1st Ave, New York. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel and chocolate finish.

Draught @ Albion. Clear rich yellow with small frithy white head, faint vanilla aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet caramel-vanilla taste with Belgian yeast characteristics, smooth body, long sticky sweet finish. Quite nice and smooth, albeit a little too sweet at the end.
