Thanks to Ben for hooking me up with this one! Pours a deep amber with with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a slight roasted malt with caramel and some candied sugar. Flavor is similar with some roasted malts and candied sugar with a hint of orange peel on the back on the tongue.

Fluffy white head over clear golden beer. Fruity esters, passion fruit and rosewater. Rosewater, slightly mouldy hops on a background of sweet cookies. Typical USA pale ale, not too light, but especially well-balanced.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours burnished gold with a slight foamy white head. Definite ginger aroma. Medium body/coarse carbonation. Flavor is ginger, but not exceeding strong. It’s almost got a nobel hop aftertaste. Maybe it’s a bit sweet for some, but for me the ginger kills the sugar. Love ginger. If it had a better appearance and more ginger it might have come in at 3.5.

Canned@SBWF2010. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, cardboard, some fruity and floral hops alon with quite big grainyness. Flavour is being quite similar. Quite boring.

Bomber into English pint. "It’s like a party at Grandma’s house!" I love it. Pours hazy gold with a small collapsing head. Smells rosy, sugary; lots of caramel comes out as it warms. Taste is mostly sweet with an underlying bitterness. Flavor isn’t all that fantastic, but it is different because of the rosiness. Alcohol is very well hidden. Carbonation is high, body is thin. Caldera started out with a great idea, very different, but the resulting beer isn’t all that spectacular. It’s good, drinkable stuff, but I was looking for something that was going to push some boundaries.

Bottle thanks to 5000. Pours reddish brown. Nose of coriander, blood oranges, orange zest and banana. Taste is blood orange, bitter hops, zest and candi sugar. Perhaps some cocoa nibs.

Bomber from Pizza Port Bottle Shop. Pours a dark reddish amber with a slight head. Aroma is malt with hints of chocolate. Med body/mild carb. Darkish roast malt with some zest and a good touch of chocolate. And some citrus.

Bomber poured into shaker. Aroma is lemon rind, resinous pine, caramel malt. Pours a hazy orange hue with a long retaining pillowy head that leaves some neat and sticky lace. Taste is mostly bitter with some underlying sweetness from the malt. Has a nice toasty flavor. Bitterness lingers on the tongue long after the first sip. Carbonation is pretty high for an IPA, body is very full, oily and sticky texture. A very bitter beer that’s really hitting the spot after a long day’s work.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark ruddy copper. Foamy off-white head. Aroma is smoked. Very. Medium body. Mild carbonation. Flavor is very smoked. Makes me think of smoked cheese. Pretty good.
