Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Golden-blonde with a small creamy head. Hopped with a grittiness about its texture with some sugary sweetness in its nose. Has a small dryness.

Pint from cask at The Gray Horse,Manchester with JR and MEH. Clear golden. Dense and persistent white head. Moderate, and complex malt aroma. Complex malt in taste as well, with malt balanced with some hops in aftertaste. Extremely quaffable and served in fine condition. Perhaps a bit waterishness in mouthfeel.

Pint from cask at The Grey Horse in Manchester with JR and MEH. Clear golden. Persistent beige head and lacing. Moderate aroma. Fine and well-balanced taste, with pale malt and some hops. Very smoth and extremely quaffable. Just as a good bitter should be!

Cask @ Angel (JDW), Islington N1. Pours a pale amber golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty earthy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy earthy hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Bottle @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Clear golden with a small head. Crisp well balanced ale with both hops and malt evident. Full-bodied with a bitterness to it.

Cask at the White Lady. Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Aromas of floral hops, watery, thin aroma. Taste is better though, good fruity bitterness. Bitter finish.

Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Amber with a thick creamy head. Lightly malty with a hop twist to it, thereโ€™s some chewing gum-fruitiness to it, although itโ€™s mainly a crisp ale which is not bad for its strength.
