Actually bought a 2-4 of these, as had a great special... and I had a few of these before to know I liked them. Clean, golden colour with not much carbonation, but a nice frothy white cap, good stay and loads of foamy lacing. The Czech Pale Ale malt give a nice cereal, grainy aroma. Almost rye, lightly spicy. The Mosaic hops give a touch of grassiness. The taste shows the cereal malts, but the hops give a soapy, spicy finish, which works well here. I really like this Focus series, and this one is another good one.

Can that pours a clean, very light yellow colour with a bubbly white cap, average stay and some foamy lacing traces. Mild spicy Pils nose with malts and Czech hops. Crisp mouthfeel with a little dryness in the finish. Again, the flavours show a little spiciness, grassiness and enough dryness to cut the malts. A very nice light Pilsner made to enjoy everyday.

A golden pils with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, crisp biscuit malt with grassy Saaz hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, grainy biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, light treacle and faint butterscotch. Can from brewery.

A lightly hazed blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light raspberry jam with light acidity and Epsom salts. In mouth, a nice tart mix of raspberry jam, light acidity, light mineral notes, Epsom salts, pleasant.

Pours a fairly clean amber colour with just a few particles, and some golden highlights. The frothy light-beige head is smaller with average stay and just a little thin ring left on the brew. Fruity malt base with some spicy hops and the smokiness popping out. The smoky wood continues into the brew with the fruitiness mildly hanging in there. The hops just give a little dryness in the finish, but the spicy aspect is gone here. Quite an interesting, lighter Rauchbier with an amber lager base.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, vanilla, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee notes, light cereals, pleasant and smooth.

Draft at the source. Clear deep amber color, thin off white head. Aroma of distant campfire. Taste is burning embers, the non meaty kind, making this one very flavorful but easy drinking. And a skateboard art auction!
