Description
We are a micro brewery based in Lockwood, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and we also now have our own TapHouse, The Corner in Huddersfield's Market Walk We brew high quality cask conditioned real ales, bottle conditioned beers and limited quantities of Key Keg. Over the years, we have gained a reputation for producing crisp, clean flavoured hoppy ales. Our speciality is single hopped variety ales. We are regularly trying new hop varieties and blending different hops to create new flavours. We always stock a variety of single hopped beers, as well as semi-regulars and new one-off brews which enable us the explore different hop and malt combinations.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a slightly unclear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, woody hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth, fresh, light pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

This beer could refer to Erroll Flynn, who led a hedonistic life. A little dull for a direct beer & person comparison, easy smoothish texture, some hoppiness, pretty regular safe brewing here. Drinkable and light golden in colour.

Hand pulled pint at the Wrekin Inn on 27th November 2025. Bright and clear light golden body, white crown on top. Hoppy, dry, resinous and bitter, someone forgot to put the malts in (or not enough of them).

Hand pulled half pint at the Pheasant Inn & Brewhouse on 22nd November 2025. Not too sure I've come across Krpan Hops before. Anyway this light golden brew held a lemon/citrus aroma and bite. A little weak and watery maybe, I would have liked a bit more depth body and flavour wise to be honest.

Clear pale gold with a frothy white head and no overriding aroma, just a touch of citrus hop. Grapefruit bitterness to the fore, some light malt and maybe a hint of juicy fruit, finishes dry and bitter.
