Description
We are a micro brewery based in Lockwood, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and we also now have our own TapHouse, The Corner in Huddersfield's Market Walk We brew high quality cask conditioned real ales, bottle conditioned beers and limited quantities of Key Keg. Over the years, we have gained a reputation for producing crisp, clean flavoured hoppy ales. Our speciality is single hopped variety ales. We are regularly trying new hop varieties and blending different hops to create new flavours. We always stock a variety of single hopped beers, as well as semi-regulars and new one-off brews which enable us the explore different hop and malt combinations.

Cask at the Wellington, Brummy vice Cotts Bimble, 03/08/24. Pale golden blonde with a lasting white head. Nose is mellow citric flesh, grass, pale malts, straw. Taste comprises melon, lemon rind, herb, soft malts, light breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Okay golde.

Cask at the Hole in the Wall, Brighton on 26th August 2024. Clear gold with shallow off-white film and full lacing. Zesty citrus aroma. Rich tangy fruitiness in-mouth,and a finish of caramel malt, grassy hops and berry fruits. Light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Pheasant Inn and Brewhouse on 7th August 2024. Clear light golden body, bright and clean looking, snow white head. Azacca hops doing their thing, citrusy and semi-bitter throughout, with lemon like aroma and taste, some grapefruit too.

Cask at the welly cotts mini day out. A clear golden coloured pour with a lasting fluffy white froth. Aroma is dirty hop, pine, dirty grains, sweaty,. Flavour is composed of dirty grains, sweaty green berries, dirty piney hop, harsh bitter. Palate is semi sweet, hop resin, mellow carbonation.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Mid-gold and clear with a small white head. Really muted aroma, some citrus and straw. Bittersweet taste, tropical fruit notes. Bitterness of the hop really shining through. Long bitter finish. A simple but enjoyable beer, maybe needs a bit more power behind it.

Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, light juicy citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
