En su cáliz, color marrón oscuro con destellos granate al trasluz, espuma beige de mediana retención. Aroma a malta tostada, caramelo, ciruelas, frutos rojos, chocolate. En boca es de cuerpo medio a completo, trago de entrada dulce con notas maltosas y afrutadas, amargor contenido, notas de chocolate negro, pan tostado frutos negros, final seco y ligeramente licoroso. Una cerveza resuelta y agradable.

En tulipa, color granate oscuro, turbia, espuma rosácea, que si bien es de mediana retención reaparece cremosa al airear la copa. Aroma a cerezas. En boca entra dulce, como si directamente estuvieses dando un trago a un sirope de cerezas rebajado con tónica, seguido de un regusto como cítrico y amargo a albedo (la parte blanca de la cascara de limón), final seco, ligeramente áspero. Mira que soy fan de las cervezas saborizadas con cereza, pues esta se me ha hecho complicada de disfrutar

En tulipa, color dorado, espuma blanca bien retenida. En nariz notas de levadura, pan, cereal, especias, cítricos... En boca entra dulce con notas de levadura y malta, amargor muy contenido, el alcohol se siente presente al final del trago, moderadamente especiada, ligeros toque amaderados, naranja madura, algo de especias... Una tripel belga que sin estar arriba del todo se bebe muy fácilmente, quizá carece de algo de profundidad, fuerza y carácter, no obstante un servidor la ha disfrutado tan ricamente.

Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Aromas of bananas with light pears and some sweetness. Taste has yellow fruits, some grassy notes , a little herbal, medicinal and more sweetness. Medium body with a fairly lively mouthfeel. A bit harsh. Not that great if I’m honest. I expected a bit more.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 17.03.2024) im 2023-03 getrunken. Dieses rotgoldene Bier mit sehr kräftiger, weißer Schaumbildung kommt im Antrug süßlich herüber bis dann der Hopfeneinfluss sich durchsetzt und im Abgang setzt sich eine leichte Hopfennote durch. Sehr gut trinkbar!

33 cl bottle poured into a Trappist glass. Clear golden colour with a dense white head. Sweet aroma with yeasts, fruits, an earthy touch, pears. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body. Drying fruity spiced finish. Ok.
