Clear ruby, tan head. Smells malty, a little piney. Flavour has pine, malt, caramel, citrus, grassy hop. Big, punchy, very drinkable.

Cask @ Jack In The Box, Manchester. Clear golden with a head. Although the brew doesn't taste thin its hoppy character does, although this is offset by a lovely smoothness to its hoppy character, all at a sessionable strength.

Keg @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Extremely dark brown with a head. Hopped and roasted malt combination with the latter slightly more dominant. Its aroma is more the roasted too. Tasty enough with the experience lingering long in the palate.

Hand-pulled third of a pint at The Tap & Can, Shrewsbury on 10th February 2023. Clear golden pour, white crown. Tangerine like aroma and taste, some bitterness in there too.

Keg @ Jack In The Box, Manchester. Very mildly hazy golden brew. It has a light lageresque ale character, a light sweetness for it, and is fine if this is your style or combination.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Black with a small off-white head. Coffee is abundant in both aroma and taste but its strength is fairly apparent too, albeit subdued to an extent by its smooth texture. --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) Kees Stroopwafel on 12 Jul 2019 at 20:09 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Keg @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Very dark with a creamy, slightly off-white head. Has underlying dry roasted malts with a sweetness to it, proving to be a good mix.
