Draft @ the brewey's taproom, San Marcos. Clear very dark (but not entirely black) color. Beige head, not much. Aroma's: ground coffee, molasses, sweet. Retronasal it's roasted, coffee, sweetish, molasses, light red fruit. Flavor is above moderate sweet, roasted. Quite full bodied. Long finish with a lot os roast, almost ashy, moderate bitter.

Pour us a clear golden with a large white head that fades quickly. Aroma is a decent bready lager malt with some spicy hops. Flavor is pretty good. A nice richer bready malt is there more than I thought it would be and then some decent herbal spicy hops. Probably a bit more heavy in the mouthfeel then beers made in the Czech Rep but this has a nice clean bready malt and the hops show up as well.

Tasting at SF, Vancouver, can; 9% ABV
Golden color, just hazy. Aroma of resiny hops. The malt base has a quite strong caramel character, the hopping is very resiny but it's not bright, there are some vegetable traces. Some alcohol punch.
A good beer, but not what I want in 2017.

Amber. Not much head. Big powdery, leafy nose, maybe some dankiness. Earthy, bitter, touch cheesy, with a light piney herbal hop. Good balance. Nice DIPA.

On tap @ the Rip Current North Park brewery location. Poured up with a clear gold body that supports a thin dirty white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up an inviting pulse of spicy danky onion hops and grapefruit. The taste delivers a crushing thirst quenching deep hoppy bite. This is hitting the spot. I get a malt thickened grapefruit and spicy dank onion heading into some citrus hop flavor juiciness. Wow. I can drink this all day.
