Can from Asda. Golden in colour, with a slight hint of haze, and a short-lived, white, head. There was a fair bit of carbonation. Pineapple, grapefruit, some grassy hops, dash of white pepper and biscuity malts, before a dryish finish. A good supermarket beer.

Can. Asda. Fully hazy, orange gold. Thick froth of white. Nose has banana sweets. Some clove. Sweet wheat. Taste is mostly sweet, with a light dryness. Medium body. High carbonation doesn’t suit too well, really. Dry, and light bitter finish.

Can. Asda. Looks like the canning date was 25th June. Hazed, dark orange. Messy, lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has stewed hop. Marmalade. Candied peel. Sappy pine. Taste is sticky sweet, with a punchy, resinous bitterness. Medium body. Low carbonation. Punchy bitterness to finish. This is very much like a ramped up version of the Asda West Coast Pale I just rated.

Can. Nose is yeast, malt slight hops. Very amber looking. Taste is bread, dough, malt, red berry, toffee, marmalade. It's okish but very off style

Can. Asda. Memory rate from a couple of nights ago. Clear gold. Decent white foam. Aroma of nutty grain. Some vine fruit. Some berry. Taste has light, nutty sweetness. Light vinous tang. Light body. Low carbonation. Light bitterness to finish. Ok. Not that much better than an Asda own label bitter, really, and about four times the price.

Sweet, chocolatey and milky. Nothing overdone, still nicely bitter, a bit roasted and plenty of beeryness. A bit thin for a milk stout, though. Solid in general, and pleasant enough.

Can from Asda. Deep gold in colour, with a thin, white, head and little carbonation. Malty bitter with some hedgerow hops, touch of sweetish fruit and lingering, bitter, finish. Fine.

Can. Asda. This is a Session IPA, for me. Hazed, medium gold. Froth of off white head. Nose has orange cordial. Clean, biscuit malt. Notes of pink grapefruit. Some lime leaf. Hint of spice. Taste has a juicy sweetness, with decently balanced, zesty bitterness. Medium body. Light, foamy carbonation. Light bitterness to finish. I’d happily fill the fridge with these. Nice one.
