330ml can thanks to Steveoj pours out clear crisp straw topped with a white head. Nose is floral perfume hops and some grain. Taste is more of the nice light grain and floral hop notes.

Lively golden beer, thick white head. Light, grassy citrus smell. Tate is bitter lemon, hop and not a heck of a lot else. It's not got a lot going on but it's crisp, fresh and very sessionable.

Clear amber beer, off white head. Light, dry hoppy aroma. Taste is light citrus, grass, pine. Not massively tasty but a perfectly decent ale.

Backlog. Tap. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and lacto. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, lacto, sweet, hop and a little bitter.

Can at home from Morrisons. A great murky pour into the glass and plenty of hops on the nose. I was expecting some crazy hop bomb, but this was a subdued take on a NEIPA and the better for it. The hops were well balanced with an emphasis on drinkability rather than trying to stuff as many hops as possible into the brewing process.

Can at home from Morrisons. A subdued pour with a bit of lacing in the glass. The taste was of light hops and a slight sourness that was quite well balanced. The mouthfeel was ok, but the whole beer was just lifeless and to me, completely dull and boring. I have had much better.

Bottle from Waitrose in Canary Wharf. A deep, dark brown in the glass and a massive pillowy head that lasted to the end. No real nose and no real flavour either! Some malt, but otherwise one of the most boring beers I have had in a long time. Whether this lack of any interest was down to me or the beer I do not know, but I have had many, many better brown ales (Harvey's Lewes Castle is the benchmark for me).
