Keg tap at the Maypole, Cambridge. Light gold, no head to speak of but lots of tiny champagne-like carbonation. Gentle aroma, just a hint of undefinable citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is full of dry pithy grapefruit and spicy hops. Drying aftertaste. Watery body but the carbonation lifts it. Pretty good especially for the ABV.

Cask @ Leeds Brewery Tap, Leeds. Dark brown with a slightly off-white creamy head. It’s strength is there, but not overbearing. It’s fairly light in aroma and taste, with a sweetness and a stickiness, but with a fairly decent palatability for its alcohol content.

Cask @ North Bar, Leeds. Paler golden coloured with a thin head. Has a very light grapefruit taste in a more citrus influenced ale, as albeit a thin and watery tasting one.

Handpull cask at Cask Corner, Doncaster. Light gold with a small and somewhat loose white head. Passionfruit and grapefruit bursting out of the aroma. Taste doesn’t follow through, it’s bitter and a bit unbalanced. A bit acrid in the finish. Thin body. Good beer despite the issues.

Draft at Candlebar in Leeds. Opaque brown color, beige head. Nice aroma of dark chocolate milk. Taste is bitter, earthy, couldn’t finish it. I suspect dirty tap lines. I’ll have to try this one again.
