Djupt bärnstensfärgad vätska med ett väl tilltaget skumlock. Aromer av karamell och örter. Lite kladdig maltighet. Jästig, örtig i smaken med en beska som lutar åt torkat hö. Värmande och med god munfyllnad.

(Can) Pours clear brown with small white head. Clean aroma of candy and herbs. Medium body with plenty of bright carbonation. Great taste with a backbone of caramel malt overlaid with some gentle fruity tartness and some nice herbal bitterness. Very drinkable.

Keg at the Dovetail, Farringdon, 15/09/23. Amber pour topped with a just off white head that retains well. Nose is dark malts, herb, biscuit, stewed fruits. Taste comprises toffee, malt forward, herb, raisins, biscuit, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style.

Lys brun noe tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter karamell, lys sirup og banan. Fyldig. Søt. Som forventet er den belgiske gjæren der, sammen med karamell, alkohol. Mer uventet er en mer weissbieraktig bananlukt og smak. Men det funker for meg.
