Can. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light smoke with a decent amount of juniper and some light sweet grains underlying. Flavor is smokey throughout with touches of juniper and sweet grains supporting.

This is good. Well hopped. Dry with q moderate roasted malt flavor. Good. Heavy palate.

Sample at a festival. This was excellent. Rich, full palate. Lots of smoke in the aroma and the flavor. Some alcohol is evident. One of the best I have had from Hammerheart.

47,3 cl can (10%) @ Timo A Aroma has licorice and coffee. Flavour has licorice, soy sauce, coffee and salty licorice. Where are the peppers?

47,3 cl can (9,1%) @ Timo A Aroma is odd with smoky tones and tar. Also leather. Flavour has leather, smoke, tar and peaty saltiness. Unusual but good – drinkability is not that great. Quite far from IPA both aroma and flavour-wise.

16 ounce can from some rando store outside of Hoops Brewing in Duluth. 1/4/20. Inky dark brown, appearing black in the glass. Large foamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, citrus, dark fruit, mild smoke. Taste is roasted malt, smoke, nuts, mild hops. Medium bodied, drinks more like a stout and a BIPA. Good, though.

Taster at Republic. Had to double check on the pour as it's the darkest pale I've seen. Also, its listed as slightly smoky...ummm, no. Medium to dark brown with small creamy head. Ok, really this should probably be a smoked beer. Ashy, peaty, roasty. Comparable to a Schlenkerla. Bamburg style. And great, by the way.
