On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear maple syrup with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines sweet grains, candied sugars and dark fruits with some smoke underlying. Flavor has sweet grains and light smoke with Belgian yeast and a bit of candied sugar.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear rusty amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a great Islay and peat note with a nice smoked meat note and a hint of sweetness. Flavor is a great peat and Islay note with smoke, wood chips and a hint of sweetness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orangish gold with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of grass and wood supported by earthy grains and a touch of pine. Flavor has a combination of earthy grain, grass, and wood with a growing pine presence.

From a bottle. Bkacl, a thin layer of foam. Roasted malt, dry, and jist a hint of smoke which is mostly due to the roast i think. Solid beer.

Bottle. Brown color. Good carbonation wven though the cap was not well sealed and it hissed when the wax was cut. Mild smoke in the flavor and more amoke in the flavlor. Dry malt, i would have liked more sweetness but i like the smoke nontheless.

On tap at Pig Ate My Pizza. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has a combination of dark grains, roasted malts and a nice smoke note. Flavor combines smoke and roasted malts well with some dark grains backing.

On tap at Pig Ate My Pizza. Pours a near clear deep amber with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of smoke and dark bread with a hint of roast supporting. Flavor is similar with a nice smoke and dark grain combination with a hint of sweetness.

On tapat the brewery. Pours near black with a light coffee brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong coffee note with touches of smoke and spices supporting. Flavor has intense coffee supported by roasted malts, light smoke and a hint of spice underlying.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy copper brown with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of smokey bacon and wood with dark grains supporting. Flavor has a sweet balcony smoke with lightly sweet dark grains backbone.

Tap at Mellow. Pours a deep mahogany brown with a small head that dissipates. Lovely smoked malt nose with some caramel, apple and light toasted coconut. Light and easy drinking. Alcohol well hidden.
